On behalf of the Scientific Organising Committee, it gives us
great pleasure to invite you to the 8th Asian & Oceanian
Epilepsy Congress (AOEC) which will take place in the exciting city of
Melbourne, Australia from October 21st - 24th, 2010. This Congress has

Congress updates
- The 8th AOEC will take place in the brand new Melbourne
Convention & Exhibition Centre from the 20th – 24th October
2010.
- The 8th AOEC was recently promoted at the 19th World
Congress of
Neurology in Bangkok. Thank you to all of you who visited the 8th AOEC
stand. Information on the congress will also be available at the
upcoming national meetings in Japan, Australia, China and India as well
as the American Epilepsy Society meeting.
- The full scientific programme is listed on the Scientific Programme
pages of this website.
- The congress committee would like to thank the State of
Victoria and the City of Melbourne for their generous contribution in
hosting the 8th AOEC.
- You are encouraged to consider submitting abstracts of
current research for presentation at the congress.
- If you are interested in exhibiting at the 8th AOEC, just
email melbourne@epilepsycongress.org for further details
- There is so much to see and do in the State of Victoria. If
you can, consider taking a few extra days off to spend some time
exploring the region, you won’t regret it. There are a wide range of
pre and post congress tours available on the Tours pages of this
website.
- Over 80 world renowned Australian, regional and
international speakers have confirmed their participation at the 8th
AOEC.

workshops organised by ASEPA have recently been announced.
