•    Experience in research in anti-epileptic and psycho-active drugs, medical education, administration, and medico-social work in epilepsy.
•    Awarded Ambassador for Epilepsy in 1991.
•    Member Indian Epilepsy Association since 1978, held all executive posts as committee member, Treasurer, Secretary-general and President.
•    Founder- Member Indian Epilepsy Society since 1997 and Immediate Past President.
•    President, Indian Ep Association- 18th Intnl Ep Congress Trust
•    Member IBE Commission on Employment and Commission on Education
•    Active organiser of many seminars, symposia and national and international conferences.
•    Lectured on epilepsy on medical and medico-social aspects in a large number of centres in India and South East Asia.
•    Editor Epilepsy India
•    Active campaigner for social causes and stigma against epilepsy with social bodies, legislators and executives of the Government
•    Vice-President IBE South East Asia Region
